COPPO 1896 S.p.A has a very ancient history.

The founder, Mr. Silvio Coppo, begun his own activity of production and commercialization of wines of Monferrato, that was also his birthplace, in 1896.
In the 20's his two sons joined the company and the activity grew with the manufacture of non alcoholic beverages and syrups.
In the 50's, due to the strategic position of the plants (near the France border), it was undertaken the production of liquors (Pastis) and liquor extracts especially designed for the French market.
The range of products increased steadily in the next years and it was supported by the wholesale and retail distribution of international well-known brands.
In the 80's, the third generation of the family modernized the company structure, organization and logistics in order to face the globalization process. They set up an import-export unit, who deals in the international trading.

The company still preserve the family management and the attitude, comply with its long tradition.
Today Coppo 1896 S.p.A. is very well positioned with its own products in the domestic as well as in the international markets (i.e. France, Spain, Germany, Japan, United Arab Emirates, China and others).
Different markets, different needs but only one vision: quality of the products and permanent support are the critical elements for the company success.
